Lauder Students Attend Puerto Rico Immersion

On a spring break LIV (Lauder Intercultural Venture), 22 students learned about the topics of disaster relief, infrastructure reconstruction, and food security in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  These topics were discussed  in the context of hurricane Maria in September 2017. On this trip, the group visited: The Ricky Martin Foundation, Microsoft Puerto Rico, Parallel 18, Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce, Joint Recovery Office, Foundation for Puerto Rico, and Banco Popular to learn about how these different institutions displayed leadership during the crisis situation.
