Stay updated about the Africa Futures Conference

Format: The Lauder Africa Futures Conference will engage in a hybrid model for 2022 with an in-person convening in Philadelphia on Friday, March 18th and online activities leading up to and then concentrated on Saturday, March 19th. Registration will open in January.

The Africa Futures Conference with the Lauder Institute features insights and analysis of a continent on the move. Featuring multi-sectoral and interdisciplinary conversations between business leaders, innovators, development practitioners, policy makers, and academics, this annual event provides a platform for extraordinary ideas and unlikely connections.

Our speakers will represent networks, businesses and institutions that are at the forefront of a dynamic and ever changing continent. These are entrepreneurs who are innovating and disrupting old paradigms, visionary political, business and nonprofit leaders, and academics whose research defines new fields and helps to make sense of social change and continuity.

Lauder is a pioneering program for aspiring global business leaders. Lauder students earn two degrees in two years: a Wharton School MBA plus an International Studies MA from the University of Pennsylvania. Our innovative curriculum integrates comprehensive professional training with interdisciplinary coursework in international politics, economics, history, culture, and language at an Ivy League institution.
