Lauder Institute Co-Founder and World Jewish Congress President, Ronald S. Lauder, was honored with the title of Commander of the Legion of Honor from French President Emmanuel Macron on June 3, 2022.
The title, known to be France’s highest order of distinction, was presented in honor of Lauder’s contribution to the world’s Jewish communities, as well as his vision for peace and culture. The rank of commander is the highest rank a non-French citizen can achieve.
