Simone Schlichting-Artur

Dr. Simone Schlichting-Artur is a lecturer in German at The Lauder Institute. She received her in EdD in Educational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009, and an MS in Science, Technology and Society from Drexel University in 2003 where she also teaches German in Drexel’s Department of Global Studies and Modern Languages.

Dr. Schlichting-Artur’s research interests include multicultural literature, issues of identity in a globalizing work environment, conflict resolution in multicultural environments, and reflective practice as a tool in intercultural communication and global learning environments. She explores these topics in her book “Learning to Listen: Pursuing leadership strategies for achieving multiculturalism in educational administrative work environments” (Lambert Academic Publishing).
