Nadia Magnanini is a Lecturer in Italian at the Lauder Institute, University of Pennsylvania, where she has been teaching since 2024, the year the Italian Language and Culture Program was introduced.

She has extensive experience in language education and program leadership. After moving to the United States in 2013, she earned certification in Teaching Italian as a Second Language (Oxford Seminars) and taught Italian language and culture at Drexel University for nearly a decade. She also held a central role at the America-Italy Society of Philadelphia, where she coordinated Italian language and cultural programs, and has taught English as a Second Language (ESL) in international and multicultural contexts.

Her expertise includes European Union programs and funding, NGOs, and educational project design and management, with experience in initiatives such as Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps.

Born and raised in Turin, Italy, she holds a BA in Political Science International Relationships and an MA in International Studies and Human Rights from the University of Turin. She is a member of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) and is committed to preparing students to operate effectively in global and multicultural environments.
