Successful Leaders
Alumni of the Lauder Institute have gone on to work for renowned financial and consulting powerhouses, tech firms, and pharmaceutical giants, and they have started more than 150 ventures of their own. But the companies they work for are only part of the story.
Lauder alumni are business leaders who put people first. Now an investment banker, one Lauder graduate is helping national governments around the world restructure and overcome their debt. A labor innovator is linking blue-collar workers with available jobs in Brazil, and a conscious corporate leader is bringing sustainability into focus in the chemical manufacturing industry.
It is no surprise, then, that Lauder alumni are uncommonly devoted to other members of the Lauder alumni network. This web of connections is built on the friendships forged in our tight-knit campus community. Our alumni care about one another and they share a lifelong commitment to the Lauder Institute.
“Once you’ve been to the Lauder Institute, you’re connected to us and we’re connected to you for life.”
Leonard A. Lauder, Co-founder and Governor, The Lauder Institute
Chairman Emeritus, The Estée Lauder Companies
Loyal Supporters
On and off campus, the Lauder’s over 2,000 alumni – many of whom are CEOs, presidents, partners, business owners, community leaders, philanthropists, and entrepreneurs – are extraordinarily loyal. Their active support for the Lauder community shows in the many ways in which they serve current students and the Institute as a whole:
- Alumni mentor and advise current students by meeting with them on campus or via videoconference as part of Lauder’s career advising program
- They participate in the Lauder Institute Alumni Association (LIAA)’s global network and associated regional events
- They give to the Lauder Institute
- They take on leadership and other volunteer roles with the Lauder Institute Alumni Association (LIAA), and as Lauder Class Captains
- They serve as members on the Lauder Institute’s Advisory Council (LAC) and Board of Governors.
From day one, Lauderites join a lifelong community of people who inspire and uplift each other. An investment in the Lauder Institute is an investment in this powerful network that is committed to improving the world through business leadership and responsible impact.
