Executive EducationCertificate in Teaching Language for Business Communication Designed primarily for teachers of world languages and other professional educators looking to gain credentials in business and in teaching languages for professional uses, the program prepares graduates to develop and teach courses in business language. The dual-certificate track combines coursework in second-language acquisition and business essentials. Students must complete required coursework from the week-long Summer Institute for Teaching a Second Language for Business Communication, offered by Penn Lauder CIBER); from Penn GSE, and from WPWP. Those who are interested in acquiring skills in teaching language for business communication but who want only an overview of business may elect to complete the Penn GSE Certificate in Teaching Language for Business Communication. Participants take the same coursework offered by Penn GSE but only two WPWP business courses (instead of the four required for the dual certificate). The Certificate in Human Resources Management, issued by the Wharton Programs for Working Professionals, requires no coursework from Penn GSE.
